Each of us want to decorate our house very neat and beautiful. We spend lot of money in our house decoration .If we talk about the decoration of the house in India Carpets and floorings takes an important part in it. Kashmiri carpets are one of the best part of floorings decoration . There are different of Varieties of kashmiri carpets . These are made with different materials like wool, cotton, jute, coir, bamboo and grass. There is a long history behind the use of carpets as the part of flooring decoration . The use of carpets can be found in ancient and medieval Indian literature. In ancient time around 500 B.C especially the woolen carpets were being used but with the time changes people learn to make carpets with different materials
. The history behind carpets is that when Babur came to India he was very disappointed by the lack of luxuries here. He missed theluxuries of Persia, which included the Persian carpet and thus Akbar laid the foundation of carpet weaving tradition in
India, in 1580 AD at his palace in Agra. Moreover Akbar started different branches for making good and luxuries Carpets like Persian carpets . Mughals not only used the Persian technique of carpet weaving, but were also influenced by traditional designs and motifs from Persia. In 16th century Akbar brought certain Persian carpet weavers to India and established them in India so as the time passes the the carpets taste also mixed with the Indian art and finally the time when the carpets where made on the Indian art
