Each apple varities has its own unique taste and flavour when dehydrated.

following are  the steps to make the dried apples

1. Wash your apples. You do not necessarily need to peel them. The skin adds extra flavor to the

apples and also contain a good deal of the fiber.Any variety of apple can be dried.

2. Cut the apple.Using an apple corer (if you have one) or small paring knife, cut the core and seeds

out of the center of the apple while leaving the rest of the apples in tact. If there are any

blemishes or bruises on the apple, you will want to remove these as well.Use a sharp knife to

slice the apples into 1/4-inch slices.

3. Dip your slices into a solution that will keep them from browning. An excellent solution for

this is lemon juice, pineapple juice and water mixed together. The pineapple juice isn’t necessary

but it adds sweetness to the mixture that counteracts the sour flavor of the lemon juice.

unflavored apple slices are equally delicious.

a the pieces not touching each other Turn the dehydrator on and enjoy the aroma.  If your food

drier has a thermostat, set it for 140 degrees F. It will take 12 to 24 hours. If you dont have

dehydrator you can simply put your apple slices into sunlight .
