are required to produce 1kg of saffron.About forty hours of labour are needed to pick 150,000 flowers.
A single saffron crocus contain only 3 piece of pure saffron this is why it the world’s most precious
spice.There are different types of saffron like Lachha Saffron,Mongra Saffron,Sargol Saffron,
Poushal Safforn,Bunched Saffron,White Saffron and Konch Saffron.The price also varies at the time
of buying the different varieties of saffron,such as Lachha Saffron contain 150 Rs (Per Gram),
Mongra Saffron contain 165 Rs (Per Gram) and some varieties goes upto 300 and 500 Rs (Per Gram).
Apart from cooking Saffron have many more uses like in cosmetics and medicines.
