of Central Asia as well as the Kashmir Valley.Kahwa is a traditional green tea preparation made along
with exotic spices and including cardamom, almonds, cinnamon and cloves.Traditionally, kahwah is
prepared in a brass kettle known as a samovar.Kahwah is usually served to guests or as part of a
celebration dinner, and saffron (kong) is added to the kahwah for special visitors.Kehwa in Kashmir
is also commonly served after Wazwan and elaborate family dinners.Undoubtly it is true that kashmiri
chai is very tasty and yummy but apart from it this chai helps a lot in body fitness.This is because
the kashmiri kahwa is fully made of leaves and hearbs and moreover no flavour or no preservatives
are added.kashmiri Kahwa is a popular breakfast beverage among Kashmiris, generally accompanied
with special Kashmiri baked items like girda.kashmiri Kahwa is very easy to make .Boil 4 cups of
water with Kahwa tea leaves,green cardamom (3-4 pods, cracked), cinnamon stick (1/2 inch piece), and 2 tablespoons
sugar for 5-10 minutes or until fragrant. Take off heat and add 3 teaspoons loose green tea and
cover for 1-2 mins – just until color turns slightly darker. Strain and serve with slivered almonds
in bottom of cup and sugar to taste.No milk is added to kashmiri Kahwa.
